Zevenwacht Mall

Zevenwacht Mall is a regional centre comprising of 33 000m², with 1 600 parking bays and over 100 top-quality stores.

The centre presents a world-class shopping environment with impeccable landscaping, abundant natural light and the use of quality finishes.  A contemporary interpretation of a cape vernacular was preferred, with a palette using stone, gable silhouettes, timber, and steel detailing to articulate the building both internally and externally.

The retail centre is set back from the major intersection, and consists of a single level of retail, lining an area of surface parking.  The mall area has a facetted layout on plan, with wider nodes formed at intersections.  A central wider food mall is the focus of the food retailers, and leads onto an external landscaped terrace area that faces the forecourt parking area.
